My posts are stolen

Welcome back! Get the best selling WordPress 3.0 Video Tutorials.

I just published my previous posts earlier, and after doing it I went to check my mail. Suddenly in my inbox there were three fresh messages - all telling me about new Pingbacks on my new post (Two level menus Part 2).

The post was so fresh that barely anybody could write anything about it to get a pingback. So I went to visit the ping-senders. Actually, they are feed-stealers, or simply thiefs. From the dictionary: THIEF = a criminal who takes property belonging to someone else with the intention of keeping it or selling it. That’s what they do, exactly.
Here is the list of these sites:
1. http://www.jogos-pc.info/?p=14515
2. http://www.music-mp3-albums.info/?p=13764
3. http://www.jogos-wii-ps3.info/?p=4986

Now I will take a look at their hosts and see if I can get them banned for Copyright infringement…

Hi Moshu, same here, but a different site. At least the one scraping my stuff doesn’t show the whole post. But it sucks big time. I’m going to have to add a copyright statement to my feed (at the top not the bottom).

For someone to come and steal your stuff means that you are doing something right..have they at least appologize for being a theif…some people do stupid things and think about it later and relize that it was stupid, I have done the same when a fellow blogger called me on trying to comment to get some links, and my response is that yes i would like to have some more links, the wise words were not lost Mosh i was listening…at least call them on the stolen article…

Good luck. Seems like more hosts lately are making you jump through hoops, even more than what’s required by the DMCA, to get these folks removed. Granted, you’re asking them to remove their paying customers and you’ve never given them anything.

    Rather annoying actually.
