Hi Moshu,

thanks for the advice, now I know that it does not depend on the theme. I've the same problem with wordpress standard-theme (1.6).

To be honest I don't know much about k2 (and don't even want to deal with it). Just for troubleshooting you may want to try to switch to another theme and see if it works with your custom permalinks.
At this moment I don't have a 2.2.3 test installation, so I will need to make one and test it. Maybe I can do it later - I will post here about the result.

Hi Moshu,

thanks a lot for offering this plugin. It is very helpful for me. But I'm running in a problem with subcategories. Maybe you can help me or tell if it based on the plugin or the theme?

I use k2RC4 (www.getks.com) on WP 2.2.3 and CQS 2.7.1 at www.celtic-rock.de.

When I use permalink structure "normal" the plugin works on subcategories. When I change to /archives/123 it has no effect on subcategories, only on the first level. You can see it on "Bandporträts" (works) and "Deutschland" (no effect). Both are set to 100 items sort by title ASC.

Best wishes

[...] A few month ago I needed to update the Custom Query String (CQS) plugin. Better to say: I needed the plugin and because it didn’t work with WordPress 2.1… I tried to make it work. I didn’t do anything fancy with it but managed to make the necessary changes to work with that version. [...]
