This one is a funy site: looks like those “one-million-dollar” things… except you don’t pay a dollar for a pixel. But it is open only for blogs, no other kind of websites.
The idea is — you add your blog and if you display their logo you fans can even vote for you. Try it: click on the image, you can vote for this blog on the FuelMyBlog site. When I discovered them and wanted to add this blog my only concern was their taxonomy. Somehow I always find it difficult to fit in the pre-made categories. At the end I choose “business/technology” although I’d hardly categorize this as a technology blog.
You can even upload a picture for your blog of 100×100px - roughly the size of the logo on the left They have the mandatory blog, too… although a Blogger blog. Can’t they do better?
WHAT. I don’t remember putting this blog in my RSS reader. I.. what? If I’m not hallucinating or something, this is possibly the best viral ad campaign ever (if not borderline illegal).
In answer to your post Moshu, you are right, the blog should be our own and it is something I have meant to do since we re-launched. It will be on the agenda to fix that over the next few days.
Things coming up include a radio “chat” show, video blogs, competitions and hopefully a telecoms portal.
