A few days ago I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 - after running Norton AV for several years. NAV worked okey for a long time, however, last year I wasn’t happy with the automatic update: had to run it manually quite often, which always was a waste of time…
Installing Kaspersky wasn’t difficult although setting up and “teaching” it to filter the activity of my computer in the way I want it and need it… took some time. Now I feel comfortable with it and I know where the special setting buttons are when it doesn’t want to let me do what I want.
My first big surprise was that it is so “severe” it doesn’t want to open its own Kaspersky Affiliate Program. I am not kidding! Seeing that they offer a nice 20% commision for affiliates and knowing that many bloggers visit this site I decided to sign up and tell everybody about this very highly rated anti-virus and protection software. Well, K. wants to protect you even against its own affiliate program ;) I wrote some desperate email messages to the support guys/gals, they told me I was accepted in the program, sent me the ID etc… I just couldn’t log in. Blank page. Nothing. Until I figured out the domain name for the program has a bad word in it: affiliate. Now I taught Kaspersky to behave. As you can see I could download the links for the banner. We are learning to live and work together.
The Internet Security 6.0 includes - of course - the personal Anti-Virus, too. Or you can buy it as a stand-alone program, and here is the deal: Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal - 40% off for a 2 year license.. (There is also a free trial that lets you get familiar with the program.)

Meybe I will try this antivirus.
